Daniel's Story
Life
Well, I don't feel any older but when I look back over the years I think "WOW alot sure has changed over the years."
After graduation I joined the US Navy. Went to boot camp in Orlando, Florida. Then on to school in Memphis, Tennesee to be an aircraft electrician. When I finished there it was on to the fleet. Shipped over to Spain for three and a half years. Guess I should have taken those Spanish classes. All of my time was spent in Europe, places like Spain(home), Naples Italty, Sigonella Sicily, London England, Weisbaden and Stuttgart Germany, Azores Portugal and my favorite Athens Greece.
When I decided to get out after my enlistment was up I came back to Harper Woods and went to Macomb for a while. Then started working for a small company pulling in telephone wire. After several years of Mom and Pop Shop phone companies I finally went to Michigan Bell turned Ameritech turned SBC and now AT&T. I work as a Sytem Technician working on many different sizes of phone systems and now...Expand for more

Sometime in 1983 I met my future wife, Georgiana. We were married in Sept of '84. Soon after our fist daughter Shannon was born, a couple of years later we had twin daughters Shawn and Colleen. With the 3 kids ours 2 bedroom house in Harper Woods got a bit small so we moved to St. Clair Shores where I am still at. The kids are 22 and 20 now and still living with us, I just can't seem to get them out of here. So no grand kids or son-in- laws yet, which suits me just fine. We do have a dog Teddy, a Border Collie.
Working around the house is like a hobby or full time job, seems like we are always redoing something. I still go to school over at Macomb trying to keep up with some of the technology for work.
So now that you have been bored with the story of my life I hope to see many of you at the "All Class Reunion" in June to hear how you are doing.
Retired from AT&T in Asheville, NC on July 6, 2018 and returned back to my ho e in St. Clair Shores.
