Perry High School class of 1972. United States Naval Training Great Lakes Ill. August 1972 to October 1972. A school Great Lakes to Nov.1972. Then USS Blakely DE-1072 via Helicopter in Tonkin Gulf Dec. 1972 to May 1973, by way of USS America & USS Wordon. Charleston,SC home port. 1973 to October 31st 1974. t 1974 active duty completed left Blakely from Naples, Italy as BT 3rd class. Several jobs and girlfriends 1974 to 1976. Started dating old High school girlfriend, Hazel Ludwig July 1976, got engaged Oct.1st 1976 married Aug.19th 1977. Pgh.PD 1977 to 2002 retired as a Sergeant . Then Allegheny County PD 2002 to 2010 retired as a Patrol officer Pgh Int. Airport. Married 46 years, two daughters. Life has been very good to me.
