I remember being the only black kid (actually I'm a bonafide African) in class. I was gifted at and enjoyed sports and art. I won the 100 meters race for my class and recall drawing large posters of witches heads for the Haloween parade. In the marbles competition I failed to beat the eventual champ. Had I beat him I would have played my brother. The teachets were concerned about my reserved character. I'm your average introvert and that has not changed. That's me.My family returned to Zambia, Africa where I finished my studies and have worked for 20 years now. I need to retire! My first job was at the Anti-Corruption Commission as a Investigator cum Prosecutor, where I got paid peanuts to investigate/prosecute. What I remember most about it is I learnt that life is not easy but you have to find joy in it daily to survive.I later worked at the Zambia Privatisation Agency as a Senior Legal Officer. My childhood friend at Ritter elementary was Drew Garrison. We worshiped at the same church, Calvary Weslyan Church. Currently, my oldest friend is Andrew who I met 25 years ago at University. We share the same interests though he is a certified extrovert. I had lots of ribbons and certificates from sports and art events which disappeared over the years. Unfortunately sport and art are not adequately supported in Africa. I'm still a jeans, T-shirt and sneakers person except when in the office of course or attending court. My best friend would tell you I'm stubborn and affable, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as simply pensive. I need to continue in gainful employment for another ten years as I have two young children and a wife to look after.Thereafter I can experiment with farming and real estate. My current age is 44. When I was 12, I thought that people my age are exceptionally ancient and physically inactive. I was so completely wrong. I still play basketball every weekend with guys half my age. I lived in a large dorm at secondary school and shared a room at University. At the time I enjoyed being away from home (parents) now I'm a homebody!
