Daniel's Story

I am a film maker and photographer by trade. This year my film Four Decades of Historic Preservation in San Diego County won the California Governor's Historic Preservation Award.
My interest in film making goes back to hear the stories my grandmother told me when she worked in the film industry back in the time of Valentino, Chaplin, and Cecil B. DeMille.
My interest in architecture goes back to the age of 14 when I first read "A Testament" by Frank Lloyd Wright. By the time I was 15 I was being mentored for attending the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture. It turned out I followed family tradition by pursuing film when was accepted at U.C.L.A. Film School. There I got a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree in Motion Picture and Television Production.
I've served many stints in various film and television productions over the years. But most recently I've focused on producing documentary and advocacy films in San Diego. I am currently working on projects for the La Jolla Historical Society.".
