Daniel's Story
I joined the Navy after High School. Not wanting to grow up, I stayed in the Navy, retiring in '85, as Lieutenant Commander. Tours of duty included 'Nam with the Seabees, the Pentagon, two aircraft carriers and a battleship, and a couple of years in Taiwan.

as Assistant Registrar, retiring (again) in December 2003.
Since retiring from the Navy, I have become involved in my community through my church, my Lions Club, the local food bank and a local non-profit health center.
I married a local "Nerk" girl, Phyllis Slay. We have three children and six grandchildren. We reside in the Peach State (Georgia).
Reading and exercise occupy my free time.
