Daniel's Story

Life Moved to Thunder Bay,Ontario,Canada in Sept,1974. 1975 I inlisted in the merchant marines and worked on Cargo Vessels (ships) for 17years and traveled. Sailed and motorbiked all across North America (Canada,U.S. and Mexico)Most of centrel America and all through the Carribian and northern part of South America. That was all through the mid 70's to 2001. 2002 I went to Southeast Asia for 6 weeks! Got lost over there for 16 weeks. Did all of Thailand,Nepal,Northern Route by train through India(Dehli to Calcutta),all of Cambodia by way of boat east to west (Mekong Delta), All of Vietnam from Ho Chi Minh city (Siagon) Up the Red China Sea Coast From Ho Cock beach to Na Trang to Da Nang,Hoi Ann,to Hue,to Hanoi,to Halong Bay,Back to Hanoi Back to Da Nang then going west into the Mountains to Kom Tum by the Lao Boarder heading South to Bon Me Tot back to Siagon. All on a russian Ural 650cc motorbike With sidecar. Own 2 of them. I Own 2 of them there now Then flew to Manila in the Philippines. Did the 2 major Big Islands. Luzon in the north and Mindanow in the south then back to Bangkok,Thailand and Bused it into Lao and headed north into the mountains. Then Back to Thailand. That was the first year. I have been going back there every year since 2002. Every year for 3 1/2 to 4 months. I Have an apartment in Bangkok Thailand (Home Base). Venture out from there. Every year I go back I go to Thailand,Nepal,Vietnam,and the Philippines along with picking a Few new ...Expand for more
countrys to go venture and soak up the culture with. 2003 it was Bangledesh and Korea. 2004 it was Burma (Mynmar)and Taiwan. Who knows this year for 2005!!! I live and own a house in a city called Thunderbay, In the Provence (state) of Ontario, in the country of Canada. I have also worked 3 years as a motorcycle machanic as a Harley Davidson Tech. Attended Fairview Collage in the provence of northern Alberta and took the Harley Davidson Tech coarse. Loved evry minute of the coarse but when I went to work at a shop my hobby turned into job. Lasted three years as a bike machanic then went to work loading Big Cargo ships driving forklift as a longshoreman (Loading docks) Also drove forklift at the Thunder Bay Airport Forestfire division center for 2 season. In Jan of 96 I have been employed with the local Shipyards here in Thunder Bay along the lake Supprior shore line. Pascol Engineering (Port Arther Shipyards co.(company) LTD (limited). I am employed in the Machine shop division of the yard. I operate all of the 5 overhead crane's in the Machine shop. Every year I get End of Sept to middle of January off from work. Then I move to my Apartment in Bangkok,Thailand. And thats What I am doing pretty much up to date. To all of you's who know me out there I am doing alot better than I thought I would have and am in good health. Hope to hear from a few of my old time friends!!!
