Danielle's Story
Life
Well, right now I'm working on a 2nd Bachelor's Degree at GVSU in Psychology. I have finally found my "purpose" in life and have at long last decided what I want to be when I grow up. My plan is to finish my psych degree in about a year, go on to grad school and get a masters in psych or social work and I plan to do child/family counseling for kids with autism. As for work, I currently am a nanny for a family part-time and am looking for a new job in addition to that one. I've worked for this family for 4 years and they have 3 kids, ages 6, 4 and 17 mon...Expand for more
ths. The 4 year old boy has autism and I have learned a lot from him and my life would not be nearly as valuable without him and his 2 sisters in it. I'm still single, hoping to be married and have a family of my own someday, I just figure that the Lord has a plan for me and I'm going to let Him decide when the right time is for that to happen. I live in Allendale, about 1/4 mile from GVSU in a condo. I love it. In my spare time (which I have a lot of these days) I enjoy reading a good book, playing golf or tennis, and spending time with friends and family.
