Danielle's Story
Life
Hey classmates! I am sorry I haven't been able to see many of you, and I haven't kept in contact with many. But I hope to catch up at some point in time. Life is always so busy. I have two wonderful little boys and a new baby girl who keep me so busy, Joshua (10) and Nathan (7), and a great husband (Timberline class of 93), and a new life out in good ol Yelm (who would have ever imagined LOL). I am now licensed to do daycare, and am looking forward to starting my business soon! Life is good. :)
School
Hmmm, where to begin, LOL. School was an array of lots of emotions and lots of different experiences for me. Some were good, orchestra concerts and trips, spending time with best buddies, dances, football games, crushes, lunch behind the school (hehe), and spending time with boyfriends. And of course there were some bad times, math class, friendships going in different directions, break ups, fitting in, and growing up. But there were so many lessons to be learned. If I had to do over again, I would change some things. I would have been more outgoing and would have made more friends, I wouldn't have just thought about boys (LOL), I would have concentrated on homework and my grades more, and I would have tried to enjoy the time in high school a little more then I did. I guess I was just in a hurry to grow up. I would make some apologies to certain people regarding the way things ended and the way I acted in the situation (A. B. you are one of them) and Kristina Ross, Sherri Dennison. People grow and change, and I guess High School is the time to...Expand for more
learn a lot of things about relationships, and life. I enjoyed all the fun times I had, and think about everyone often. Okay, now I am done being all emotional, LOL.
Workplace
Well, I have had so many experiences in the work field, probably more then I should have had, LOL. Graduating from travel school made me think that was going to be what I wanted to do for the rest of my life, I was destined to be a career woman, ha ha. So with two different jobs in the travel industry then a surprise pregnancy, I was done working for awhile, LOL. Once I had my first son (Joshua) I stayed home to raise him, its difficult when your just getting started with your life, and you have a family all of a sudden, things change BIG time. So, I found out I wasn't destined to be the "career" woman I thought I was, LOL. I was blessed to be able to stay at home for the first 2 yrs after my son was born and cocentrate on raising him. After two years of being home I needed to get out and find a part time job, so I went to work for two years at a major retail store. I enjoyed it and it really kept me busy. After being there for two years I became pregnant with Nathan, I worked for awhile until my grandma became ill. I decided to quit work and care for her full time. I finally had Nathan and was able to be home with him for 1 yr. Then a friend called me and told me I could come work for her daycare, so that is what I have been doing for the last two years. Now I am ready to start my own daycare business and I am very excited! Hopefully, this will be my last profession.
