Danielle's Story
Life
It's another year and we're another year older, which means we are much wiser. Life right now is great, and I hope everyone feels the same about theirs. Looking back at my high school years I wouldn't change anything and am glad that I am where I am today. I love living in San Diego and enjoy what it has offered me over the years. Life is a crazy thing in which we want to rush through at a young age and now that we're older we want it to slow down, but honestly I can't wait to see what is ahead for me. I can remember being 18 and having 23 year old friends and thinking nothing of it, but now that I am 24 I don't feel like it. I often forget what age I am and know that no matter how old I get I will be forever happy because I am able to age year after year. Everyone needs to live young when they can for when they are older they often can not....peace out everyone, nobody will probably read this, but hey it's my late night life philosophy...if you knew me then and know me now you'd totally get it!
Hi me up on myspace if you get a chance...i'm DirtyBakersDozen!!!
College
I have 95% decided that I will be leaving San Diego ...Expand for more
for grad school, not by choice however. I finally graduate this year, it's been a long and winding road for me but i have made it. Going through the 5 year program for Interior Design has been quite an experience, and of course I want to continue this journey. I love Architecture and Design and want to learn all its parts, including landscaping. My next step is to go to grad school for historical preservation...yes I want to preserve those old and historic buildings such as the ones in Old Town St. Charles or downtown St. Louis. As of this moment I am in search for other schools that have a program that satisfies this...but just 24 more units of undergrad work and I have a degree...YAY!
Workplace
I work for an amazing furniture manufacturer as a designer and paper pusher...probably the best job anyone could ask for coming right out of college.
NOW
I work from home designing retail environments; moved to Oregon in '08; getting married in '09; who knows what the future holds for me now but I'm taking it all in stride. Josh's kids book comes out Halloween '08; his comic book is in stores now Necessary Evil as well as on amazon.com
