Danielle's Story
Life
I'm currently living in St. Louis Park, MN with my husband Andrew. We've been married almost five years and just moved back to MN from CT, ending his almost 10 year stint with the US Navy. Anxious to see everyone again, but not thrilled to be back where it snows 6 months out of the year.
College
I started college early, with the early enrollment you could do in High School, earning you both HS and College credit. I went to Dakota County Tech college during my senior year in HS. The next fall I enrolled at Normandale in Bloomington. Two years later, I went to the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. Military
I'm not actually in the military, but am a wife of one who was. Since the options on Classmates have 'spouse' as a military option, I thought I'd put myself in. In the short 5 years I've been married, I've moved from MN to WA to VA to CT, all due to the Navy. I have friends in the military, and while each one of them has a different philosophy regarding the services, mine is that before joining, you should genuinely think about what program within the intended service you will be in for your time. If you like what you do, it will make all the difference. If you are a dependant joining through marriage, the road ahead is long, but there are many of us who are here to help.
