Danilo's Story
After Graduating from William C. Overfelt High School Royals on June 1982, I signed up to joined US NAVY Active Duty, serving overseas, on board Air Craft Carrier USS MIDWAY CVA 41 and on board Cruiser Guided Missile, USS REEVES CG24 on July 1982 to September 1987, after receiving my Honorable Discharge from the US NAVY on 1987, I moved to Tracy, CA. bought a house and got married to a woman from Silver Creek High School, after being married to her for 17 years, we called it quits, we decided to get divorced. After two years has past, I joined back in US NAVY as a Seabee Reserve while working at Lowes Home Improvement as a contractor. esting, she decided to come here in California to meet me, when we met for first time, it was love at first sight, so we decided to get married before I was sent to war. We got married on May, 08, 2006, I was de-activated to active duty on July 16, 2006, to serve Operation Enduring Iraqi Freedom and Operation Noble Eagle, our job mostly are re-building, security, and fighting , to many memories has build up thru my military career, I am medical retired from US Navy Seabees on May 19, 2008. My wife and I will be celebrating our
wedding anniversary on May 8, 2008, our 2 years of marriage. US Navy word of wisdom " SEABEE, We build, We fight, We can do!!!" Once a Seabees, Always a Seabees......
