Danita's Story

Life I have been married to my husband for one year out of the about eight years that we've been together. I have five children now ages 24,19,18,16 and 16. Three older are girls and the two younger are boys. I have four grandchildren ages 8 & 5 years old and two one year olds. I've done all my running around and have been settled down for some years now and am very happy. My husband and myself spend most of our time with the children and grandchild. Well when we can. We live at the California border about one and a half hours from Klamath Falls Oregon. We all are very activly involved in all the Tribal business/cultural even...Expand for more
ts that we can. The guys play basketball alot so we are at alot of games/tournaments. I have found that my family is very important.Actually the most important. I guess when you go away to another place to go to school it's kinda hard cause you can only wonder what every one from school is doing. Like your friends are from everywhere but in California.Sure, I've made new friends here at home but those growing up school friends are never forgotten. One of the best things about boarding school was that i got to go to different states and know what it was like to see the different places. I know that there are Indians everywhere.
