Danny's Story
My story is that I attended Myrick when I was in the 4th and 5th grades. My 4th grade teacher was Mrs. Green and MY 5th grade teacher was Mr.Ingrams. I lived at Magnolia Boys Town which was located just north of Laurel. While I didn't feel totally accepted by the student body because of my status in the community, I had some realy good friends there. e. Then there was the girl that invited the entire class to her home to view the cosmos with her telescope. That was neat! I remember someone named Deborah and I remember a kid that came to school barefooted but was missing a toe on one of his feet. Ahhh, the good old days. Can someone tell me whatever happened to Myrick? I left there in 1962 and moved back home to Louisiana. The years have been kind to me and I would like to hear from anyone that can catch me up.
