Danny's Story
When I got out of the Marine Corp in 1971. I went to work for the F.W. Woolworth Co. as a store manager. I managed stores in Augusta, GA. Roanoke, Va. and Durham,NC I left Woolworth in 1990. I went to work for Industrial Gas, as a warehouse manager for 5 years. I then worked for Roanoke Memorial Hospital ,as a courier for 2 years. I left the hospital to move to Rocky Point,NC to help my wife mother and father who were sick. I went to work in Wilmin...Expand for more
gton, NC at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in 1997 as a Sterile Precessing tect. I was with the hospital for 12 years and retired.. I decide to go back to work part time 2 years later. I went to work for Pender Hospital as a Sterile tect. I am still there now, but plan on leaving at year end.
In 1967 I married my school sweetheart Ginger Melvin . As of May 20 2017 we have been married 50 years. We have three children and 9 grandchildren.
