School My Sr year, I walked into English class the 1st day of school and hey..the teacher was kinda hot compared to most at WW in 64-65......went to Harvard to boot (Harriet Lorenz). I'm cruising thru that class as usual.... when i hear something I think is a tad alarming....i asked the person next to me to clarify what the heck she just said.......BEOWULF TERM PAPER!!! At the end of school that day...I could not run fast enough to Ms Reifsnyder's home room ...."Ms Reifsnyder, I'm dying , if I'm lying ....i'll never leave this place if I don't get out of that class.." I don't remember whether it was a day or a week, all i know is i got a note from the office to report from now on... to my new English class with Ms Sally Reifsnyder...It was her along with Peggy Kless (History) and Ruth Brahs (Math).....My Talented &Terrific Trio.... who managed to somehow get this lazy student out of WW on time.... and thus able to arrive to the smell of those Southern Pines in beautiful Chapel Hill, NC......the fall of '65.... College University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill....Fall of '65 to the Spring of '69. BA: Political Science The "Tar Heels" went to the Final 4 .....my Soph-Jr-Sr years...and i made the trek to the 2 ('67 & '69) that were played in Louisville's Freedom Hall. ...Expand for more
