Life Lets see now, for being 28 I have been through a lot in a short period of time. Addicted to drugs, DUI, totaled two cars, shootings, Trade school, Drugs again, another two car accidents (not all my fault) Met my wife, bought a house, bought some cars, guns and motorcycles, adopted my son, finished trade school (five long years), had my first girl, lost my first girl, Got her portrait tattooed on my chest over my heart, had a second girl (she is now 9 months old as of August 5th 2007) all pretty much in that order. I have been working with the same company since the end of 1998. I started off sweeping the floors in a crappy warehouse, then graduated to being a service plumber about six months later, then six months after that I started a union plumbing trade school and went to work on the new construction side. About 18 months later they brought me into the office and started to train me to be an estimator. Shortly after I landed my first job and have been successful ever since. We moved from the crap hole, gang infested part of Santa Fe Springs building we rented in 2000 and bought a nice 10,000 sq ft office building in an industrial part of La Habra. I continued to go to school and finished in 2003. I have been the Chief Estimator since 2004. I am in charge of the estimating department and overseeing 65 million dollars worth of estimating. Not that we get all the jobs we bid, we land about 12-13% of that, which is a very good percentage as most companies land between 8-10%. Bla, bla, bla, woof, woof.
