Life I met my husband Craig while I was at Angelo State and he was in the air force stationed at Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo. We met at a club where some of my college friends and I were spending the evening. He started over to ask a friend of mine to dance, but when he got there she had gone so he had to ask me instead. We were married in June 1973 and we have lived in Nacogdoches since January 1974. Craig is retired from TxDOT and now works for an engineering/environmental consulting firm out of Houston but they allow him to work from home. My Kids Matt is 33 and lives in Bryan, TX, with his wife, Doris, and our granddaughter, Maggie, who was born in July, 2010. Stephanie is 29. She earned a master's degree in forensic science from Sam Houston State U. She is a forensic analyst for the Abilene Police Department. She recently married Luke Hughes who serves in the USAF at Dyess AFB in Abilene. My Job I am a senior secretary in the Stephen F. Austin State University athletic department.
