Darcy's Story
Hello to whoever reads this and I hope it finds you well. This will be a quick overview of my life since leaving high school. I got out of dodge and came to New Orleans...past mistakes, you got to love them. Did various jobs until 1989 when I began a 14 year career in banking. I had many different titles starting with Teller through Assistant Manager
I married in 1992. We made 17 years this past June. We never had children, but we do have three Bichon Frises (dogs)...and they are my babies!!
Made a major change in 2005 and started working for an attorney who mainly practices family law and does some personal injury. She is the "perfect" boss. We get along great and she is like my best friend mo...Expand for more
re than a boss.
2005 brought Hurricane Katrina to our area. Luckily, I am about 25 miles west of New Orleans and didn't suffer the flooding. Our area was mainly wind damage and our house sustained no damage. We were very blessed.
In January 2008 I started at Tulane University for a degree in Paralegal studies. School is going very well for me. I can't believe I am going back after all these years...some days I just feel SO OLD! June 2008 I took the Louisiana State Notary Exam and I am proud to say that I did pass it.
