spent 1 semester in a PhD program, then quite and joined the Navy

May 2002, completed Nuclear Power School (Chareleston, SC)
Nov 2002, completed prototype training (Balston Spa, NY)
Mar 2003, completed Submarine School (Groton, CT), transfered to USS Santa Fe (SSN 761) homeported in Pearl Harbor HI
Mar 2006, transfered to Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey CA
Oct 2007, got married on the beach to Victoria Anderson
Mar 2008, graduted with a M.S. in applied physics, then transfered to Norfolk VA.
