Darla's Story
Well I pulled out the yearbook, and for everyone that signed it my life differed a little diffrently than I think all of you expected. K.I.T. (Keep in touch) 244-XXXX <--I never called, in fact my yourngest daughter is wanting to take the yearbook and call all the numbers in it to see if they remember me. My appologies if your parents are getting teenagers calling thier house asking if they know Darla. Oh, and all of you that wrote that you wanted to be invited to the wedding. I didn't marry Steve, in fact we did not even date much after graduation. That was another story to tell my girls as they read the yearbook.
Ok, now that we know what I did not do, lets talk about what I have done in the last 20 years. Fell in love/lust and then realized I did not know how to properly use birth control. Got pregnant, married, pregnant again, divorced then had to finish up the degree at Seattle U so I could support the 2 kids. Much longer story then this, but...Expand for more
I am sure you got the idea. Then I met my 2nd husband and chased his butt to the alter in 97 (11 years if you didn't do the math), unforunately for him he is still ham strung to me. After nailing down the husband I went back to school got a Masters in Project Management in 2000 . I have been a Project Manager in companies like AT&T Wireless, T-Mobile & Microsoft. Currently I am over at Microsoft in the Entertainment & Device Group (xbox). Met up with a few people recently, and I was told I am living in surburban hell (thx Donovan Z.). So I have truely hit the ultimate worse thing. I have turned into my mother! Live in the Burbs, and the girls play soccer. So I am a soccer mom!!!! Seriously though, I am a very proud mother and the girls are smart, active, and happy.
Now that I am depressed in realizing I am the very thing I never wanted to be in High School. I need to get out and go have a drink or three. Shoot me an message and K.I.T <---hahahhah
