Darla's Story
Life
Wow! Whaere to begin?! Well, When we graduated, my baby and husbandwere in the audience. That son is now 25 and lives in Vegas. had a daughter 2 years later, she is now married and has a 7 month baby boy, Yep! I am a grandmother! Lived in Vegas till 82 then San Francisco as an Army wife till 86. Back to Vegas and divorced 2 years later. Remarried in Texas in 90, had my youngest son, now 15. Left Vegas to live in Texas in 94 and now live in Austin, Texas. Divorced and very happy!
I have had a few jobs in these years including dealer at the Gold Coast, receptionist for a chiropractor, telemarketer and manager of 3 clothing alterations...Expand for more
shops here in Austin, Pre-K teacher for 7 years and now Assistant teacher in a high school working with teens with emotional and behavioral disorders. I was always a little unique and nothing has changed. I am very artisitc and fit into the culturally diverse life of Austin.
I attend and am a member of Saint Stephen's Missionary Baptist Chruch here. I am active with volunteer work and put in a great deal of time with the Katrina and Rita relief efforts.
I would love to hear from anyone who remebers me, high school was a fun and positive time for me. I however, do not live in the past. I love my life and would love to catch up with any of you!
