Where to begin..... I moved to Ky from Calif as a young teen( leaving behind most of my older brothers and sisters .. as I am the youngest of 10 ..yes 10 all my real brothers and sisters )---as well as all the friends I had made up through the 7th grade. At first I was sad until I started school at Cub Run Elementary and everyone -- well most everyone took to me right away :o) The first thing that I said to them when it was time to go outside was - " Come on you guys !!" and well right away I got corrected by many " It's Y'ALL not YOU GUYS !! " followed by laughs and they just wanted me to keep talking because of my 'accent' I look back at that and how much fun I had with all the friends that I've made and wonder just how much all of them think of the same memories!!! I hold them all very dear to my heart.... I graduated a year earlier than my class -- with the Class of 83 because I had to get away from the life I had at home. None of my friends would've ever known but it was hell to put it nicely ( nothing that ANYONE should ever have to experience ) but I will say that I am a much stronger person today and I would never let anyone suffer through something like that. I moved away after graduation went to NY and lived with my parents til I was 18 ( because I graduated at 16 ) and then I decided that I wanted to be back in CA near my family. I got a full time job and started a relationship and within a couple of yrs started a family. My oldest son is 22. I lived out there for about 5 yrs ( that relationship ended) and then I met and married a Marine and when he got out he couldn't find work so we ended up moving to Ohio( which is where my husband at the time family lived ) so we lived in Northern OH for a couple yrs and then he got a job with the State in Corrections.
