Life
It's 2007 about to be 2008 and as I reflect upon my life after visiting classmates.com and reviewing profiles of some of my old buddies from the Military and from School I think about how great God and life has been to me. I now reside in New Jersey with my daughter Latifah (15 years of age). it would be nice to hear from some of you. Holler at your girl if you like. Peace and Love to everyone....Darlene
Military
I went into the Military in January 1978 and did my Basic training at Ft McClellan, Alabama from Jan-Mar 1978. For me Basic was a blast. My buddies (Tammy,Kathy,Clemenstine,Cindy) and I ruled and rocked in Basic. We did it all. Holler at your girl if you where in the group with me. After that I went to Ft Sam Houston, TX for Med Supply Training and my buddies were still with me but we were in different jobs so I mostly swung with Tammy & Glenda (my roomates) and of course my girl Mousey (Kathy) somehow we lost Clem McMullin and Cindy but we hooked up at a later time. (RIP MY LOVE) and went to a leadership class and hooked up again with my girls Tammy & Clemenstine. I also met new friends (Felicia, Victor, Roper, Keyes and most of all my main girl Yvonne Johnson/Stevenson/Fetherson (Holler at your girl if your reading this. I miss you girl). Onto Walter Reed AMC where i met the other love of my life (Mr. Barry [Nick] Nichols) who happened to be the one who really won my heart and made me Mrs. Nichols. Yea Boy it was good while it lasted. (Oh yeah, what up Quinn, Sharrock, Phillip, Mousey, Dorsey, Larry Allen, Sheila,my girl Gloria Carolyn,and all my cheerleading groupies and buddies- April, Bernadette, my girl and roomate Paula and her husband AJ and my godchildren - Holler at your girl if you're reading this). After that Barry and I rocked it all the way to Italy, Germany, Ft Knox, Kentucky (What's up Darryl and Jada, Greg and Cora - holler at your girl if your reading this),Belgium and back to Philly. Nick and I had 14 years of pure pleasure but all good things must come to an end. I look forward to hearing from one of you if not all....Peace and Love...Darlene
