Life
Hi, it's Darlene! I'm still in Grande Prairie and loving it! After travelling around and going away to school, I decided Grande Prairie was the place to settle. I started teaching at Montrose in 1975 and left in 1980 to own/operate a number of businesses. I went back to Montrose 1988-1991. At present I am selling real estate, which I wanted to do for a long time but had to wait for the children to grow up. Yes, speaking of kids, I have 2 great kids, Katelin, 21 and Yuri, 20. h independent,Yuri off to University of Lethbridge, taking Business Management and Katelin in PE at U of A. I am married to Rob Smith, originally from Ontario whom I met in 1980 and married in 1982. He is in the social work field, specializing in grief and bereavement work. I am presently at Re/Max in Grande Prairie, and we actually live in the family home I grew up in.We have 3 dogs, Bichon-Schitzu crosses- grandma, her daughter, and her grandson. Great dogs.
