John Conley:  

Life I did not go by the name John when I was at Galena Park High School, but Darrell Conley. I did not graduate there, but I was there for a year and a half in 1966-67, my sophmore and half of my junior year. I was in the choir and the music theory class. My Dad was the preacher for the Galena Park Church of Christ. I have been preaching for the church of Christ for my entire adult life. Early in my life I preached for churches in Texas in Brownwood, Marble Falls, and Austin, TX. I then moved to Atlanta, GA, New Orleans, LA, and then back to Texas, where I was with the church of Christ in San Antonio for fifteen years. I am now living in Jacksonville, FL, and preaching just north of there in Folkston, GA. I am teaching computer courses in the Bible on the Online Academy of Biblical Studies. I teach a course in the Synoptics (Matthew, Mark, and Luke), and a course in John in the spring, and one in the Poetic books of the Old Testament (Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon) in the fall.
