Darrell's Story
I'm a US Army veteran (13 years served)
I'm retired after 42 years military/civilian contract plus US Air Force civil services (2018)
I am currently a professional drummer/musician/songwriter/ composer and a co founder of Solano County number one music variety music group, The Time Bandits (established in 1995)

Some people may remember me from the Fairfield High school marching, concert and jazz bands...some may remember me from my sports attemps...Some will remember me from hanging out over at Armijo or going to the lake or Rockville Park...or the free concerts out at West Texas street park,etc, But I think most will remember me from my silly hat I use to wear that looked like something from the "F Troop" TV s...Expand for more
how through my freshman year (1970) on... Well, I can't find it anywhere!!! It's lost forever!!And I believe that's a good thing!(lol)
I have a thousand memories just as all of you here as well...But the thing that jumps out at me is how lucky we all were to live through and experience the 70's. Looking back...It wasn't so bad at all!! I totally still love music very much Peace! ✌🏿❤🎵 Darrell
Military
I went to boot camp at Fort Jackson,S.C. back in 1976 then did three tours of duty in Korea with the 2nd Inf Div,1 /9th Inf,8th Army and the 1st Cav Div.I also was stationed in Maryland,Washington,DC,Texas and did alot of traveling while in each area.I also served in the Active Army Reserves up until 1996.
