Darrell's Story
After many years of being a red head my drivers license now says that I am white.
I have lived in Campbell River (twice), Caycuse, Duncan, Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Regina, Edmonton and now find myself living between Kamloops and Brentwood Bay. Moved mainly for work reasons.
A variety of sales jobs I guess would be the weirdest jobs that I have had.
If I could do it over again I would get a degree in history and either write or teach.
My biggest surprise has to be my ex telling me she wanted a divorce. This news turned out for the best.
To be truly happy I would like to living on our property at Regal Ridge (Osoyoos).
I hope that old friends remember me as a friend for life.
The teacher I would like to see again would be either Jack Lowther or Mr. Daimer.
Since graduation I have worked mainly in the Forest Industry. I had a total of 3 years with the Forest Service, 12 years with BCFP and selfemployed as a consulta...Expand for more
nt for a total of 13 years. I have also worked as an engineer/manager for a logging contractor and road construction contractor. In addition I have worked as the Customer Relations Manager for a resource supply company in to Edmonton and worked as an iIdustry Business Advisor for an Association. I worked in business development for a scaffolding company in Edmonton before deciding to relocate to B.C. I moved to Victoria in Sept. '13 and was living there until July '14 when I moved to Kamloops and worked for a few months for a Forest Resource Consulting firm.
I have also worked for in the sales field for about 6.5 years selling everything from wire rope & rigging, to office equipment, theatre playbill advertisig & gas & electricity.
We have purchased an acreage in a development east of Osoyoos where we plan to build on an retire there sometime over the next few years.
We are looking forward to a 50 year class reunion.
