Darrell's Story

Life Life is a long strange trip. I joined the Navy during my senior year in high school. The Navy sent me to Georgia Tech for a couple of years, and I proved to be a better sailor than student. 2005, I'd had enough of two-hour commutes. My company had a position open up in NW Washington state, and I begged for it. My family and I moved here in early-2006, and we haven't looked back since. Life is beautiful. The Pacific NW is the most perfect place in the world to me. I can literally look out one window at snow covered mountains, and out another at kids splashing in the Puget Sound. I live in a town that is big enough to get what we need, but small enough to park in front of the stores. A bad commute is a day when I don't see the bald eagles. My family really feels at home here. I fully believe that if God really walked on the face of the earth, this is where he did it.
