Darrell's Story
Life
After highschool I moved to my home town of Duncan, BC where I worked in the lumber industry. I was married in 1976 and became the father of Krista that year. In 1981 I went through RCMP Depot and was posted to Saskatchewan. In 1989 I was temporarily transferred to Namibia, Africa. In 1995 we departed Sask. for the NWT. In 97 I was separated. In 1998 I moved to Inuvik, NWT. I met a wonderful woman and we lived in Yellowknife, NT. until 2009 when we were transferred to Parksville, I'm back on the island. My ...Expand for more
daughter is with Dept. of Foreign Affairs & International Trade, has a hubby and two great kids Step daughter 27 year old Jasmine has completed her Masters in Marine Biology and is now working for Dept. of Fisheries and Oceans in Inuvik, NT. JANUARY 2013, Retired from the RCMP after 32 great years now relaxing on the Fairwinds Golf Course at Nanoose Bay. In 2014 took a Security position on the ice road to the Diamond Mines in the NWT, work Jan -April, presently 2021 still supervising the security crew of 19.
