Rita, my kids, and my grandkids are the highlights of my life! I am blessed. Rita (she is from Royal Oak, went to Kimball) and I met at Western Michigan (I got my BS. Pre-Med there, MPA from Golden Gate University) and got married three years later in 1967 after she graduated with her BS in education. She taught school in Kansas, Nebraska, California, and Colorado. She was then in the printing business for 28 years handling accounts for Coors, Miller, Hallmark,and many others. As far as my work goes, I spent 20 years with the US Air Force working with missiles, space systems, future concepts, and several classified assignments. We lived in Texas, Kansas, Alabama, Nebraska, California, Colorado, and New Mexico. After retiring from the Air Force, I spent the next 24 years working in the aerospace industry working in the development and testing of high energy laser systems, high powered microwave systems, space shuttle systems, spacecraft systems, and related systems. I am now retired for the fourth time (number four is social security retirement) and this time I intend to stay retired (but I said that the last three times also).
