darwin's Story
Hello, I have not many classmates since high school, however I have often thought about my school years often. After a shaky start my life after HS has really been good to me. Most of my classmates didn't realize that beginning in February of my senior year that I was married on 2/14 had a son on 3/7 and graduated HS on June 7, 1972. Just for the record I am still married to the same young lady. We have celebrated 42 years together. Some of you may know her. Her maiden name was Becky Monroe. I graduated from Columbus State then received a Bachelor degree. I'm from Ohio Dominican University. I'm retired now living in Charlston South Carolina. Our son is a pilot for the Ohio Highway Patrol, and I have two daughters that teach school. I thought my High School years were wasted, but when I enrolled at Columbus State I discovered how much I did learn at Mohawk. Thanks to Mr. Koch, Mr Parrish, Mr. Sheets, and Mr. Ron Smith who sit outside of our apartment blowing his car horn. When my car broke down he made I got to school on time each morning.
