Daryl's Story
Life
After reading a few other bios I figured what the heck.
After high school I went to FCC and got hired by the Fresno PD at 19 yrs old. I became a police officer in 1975. I'm still there and looking forward to retireing in the next year or two.
I got married to Donna from Hoover and we had three children. After 12 years things didn't work out but we stayed close and got the kids raised. I remarried in 1988 to Lisa who is a RN. We have one child "Ryan" who is currently a junior at Clovis West.
My oldest son "Jake" is also a Police Officer in Fresno and I now have two grandkids. One from Jake and one from Kevin (my other son). Hard to believe.
I still am close to another Hoover grad, Scott Durham.

orks at the PD in the crime scene bureau. I have weekends off and work NE Fresno on day shift. Not Scott. He works mids and has crappy days off.. BUUUUHaHaHaAAA!!!
Anyway, we get together for fishing and camping when we can work it in.
I got into flying a few years back and am on my 4th plane. I get the $100.00 burger most weekends. The guys in our club always pick a destination with a restaurant.
Thats about it so far. All the kids are close by so we stay busy.
UPDATE July 2009
After 35+ years I officially retired from the PD this past June.
So far so good. My youngest (Ryan) graduated from Clovis West and is starting college. Looks like he is looking for something in the medical field (like his mom).
