Barbara's Story
I was Barbara Walsh at Dickey Prairie Elementary School in 1959-1962 time span and Molalla Union High School 1962-1966. We lived on the Crown-Zellerbach / Weyerhaeuser logging road.
I married Don Rasmussen in 1964 and dropped out of high school to start a family!
I married George Carlsen in 1972 and we moved from the local area in 1973 to Minnesota, then to Montana in 1976, to Texas in 1977-78?, and my children and I finally back to Oregon in 1979. I've lived in the Salem area since 1983.
I am the proud mother of seven wonderful, intelligent children fro...Expand for more
m age 31 to 46, three step-children, and grandmother of 22 from age three to 25! Two of my daughters live in Missouri and the rest live in the Salem/Keizer area.
I started working at the State of Oregon in 1983 as an Accounting Clerk and retired as a Fiscal Analyst in 2003.
I don't have any connection with the Molalla area since my Dad died and I was just looking at who was out there. I would like to hear from some of you just to see who went where and did what.
