Dave's Story
Well it has been a long ride. Went to Hawkeye Tech after grad. Worked at a dealership in town for awhile. Joined the military in 1983. Was stationed in Alameda, Ca for 4 years, traveled alot, reenlisted and tansfered to Nas Glenview, Il. Worked with jet planes all 8 years. Got married in 1984, had a son (shane) he still lives in Iowa, has 2 kids ( zach and zoey). Got divorced in 1990, remarried in 1991, had a daughter (Ally) lives with her mom in northern Illinois. ol. Lived and worked in the Chicago area for about 9 years. Relocated to Bloomington, Il and have been here ever since. Have worked for Lowes for about 8 years now in the receiving dept. I also work part-time on a loading dock at night. So from graduation till now, it has been a long trip. Made some good decisions and bad. But I have some great kids and grand kids. I am happy with my life and I guess that is all you can ask for. My advice to friends and old classmates is enjoy life now because I have learned it can be all too short.
