Dave's Story
Dave is told his life began in the vicinity of Prospect, Ohio. He has no reason to doubt this is true, though he doesn't remember much except being embarrassed about the home movies featuring the plastic lawn mower.
Dave graduated KCHS in 1976. After rambling the US from coast to coast for a few years, he finally received a BFA from Northern Illinois University (Sculpture/ Physics) in 1984 and went on to earn an MFA in 1987.

ogether. Folks in California used to remark this seemed quaint, but we suspect they were just jealous. Two children, Phillip and Caitlin, are now adults abroad in the world.
