Dave's Story

Life I moved 2 years ago to Seattle for a job at Boeing as an engineer for the defense side. I am being a professional student/educational masochist pursuing an MBA after already earning a Masters in Project Management. Still getting settled, but enjoying the lovely scenery, too bad I have no free time to enjoy it. I'm enjoying life right now, and if you'd like to get in touch, feel free. AIM: IMcaffein8d College I'm another brilliant mind, ruined by education. When you say college, I think lack of sleep working on engineering projects on topics that I won't ever use once leaving school. But it's great being a Texas Aggie! I enjoyed the camaraderie that Texas A&M had. It has a truly unigue character that I think few schools can even come close to. Once an Aggie, always an Aggie. Now, I'm at Keller Graduate School of Management taking classes towards an Masters of Business Administration (MBA). I'm working on the last 4 classes towards the MBA. I have a Master's Certificate in Six Sigma, and am a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. (Just sounds like load...Expand for more
s of fun, ehh? It can be at times though.) Workplace I work at The Boeing Company is Seattle as a materials engineer on the defense side. Pretty cool job and a fair amount of travel. Can't complain much with the education benefits I'm tapping to get master's degrees. Military Okay, when I was mentally ill I joined the AF club, only to find out it wasn't an elite golf resort, it was a 3 + yr stint always knowing what you were going to wear the next day...camouflage..green camouflage..sand colored camouflage...camouflage. Started off at Lackland AFB for indoctrination into the military cult. Then visited Keesler AFB for technical school. The only place on the Gulf of Mexico where the beach looks worse than Galveston,TX. Then off to middle of nowhere Mountain Hole, AFB. I mean Mountain Home rather. "Thirty miles from water, two feet from Hell." I believe that was the base motto. Anyways, my friends that I made there made it tolerable. Been searching through the military database and seeing some old buds, so if you're reading this, you are prolly on my list.
