Life After graduating from high school, I attended the University of Minnesota. There, I came out of the closet, and became a gay activist. After a few years (but after many proud accomplishments), I burned out and finished my degree in Mechanical Engineering. Though I admit that my heart wasn't in it after finishing an internship at a nuclear power plant and discovering that while I loved the science, I hated the lack of creativity and mundanity of the work. I then a couple of years traveling the country, teaching hospitals how to use medical software.
