Dave's Story
Life
Where do I begin, After High School I moved to FL with plans to go to USF or UCF. When i got to FL I decided that it would be cheaper if I do my lower level courses at Hillsborough Community College. Early in 2004 I decided that i wanted to join the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. In Nov 2004 my navy career began. I love my job and defiantly have no deires to go back to NY except for the occasional visit. I am currently attending the American Military University. I can't be happier with my life and all of my accomplishments I never thought I would be were I am today.
College
I am currently attending American Military University on the militaries dollar. I am unsure yet in what to major so I am doing all my lower level...Expand for more
classes however I am really interested in the Neuroscience or intelligence fields. I am enjoying the school atmosphere again and can't wait to have my degree.
Military
In Nov. of 2004 I left FL to serve my country in the US Navy. I graduated from boot camp in January of 2005 then was transferred across the street to Naval Station Great Lakes for Basic Hospital Corpsman "A" school. In June of 2005 I received my first set of orders to Naval Hospital Guam. For the past 2yrs I have been working in the Emergency Medicine Department (ER) of Naval Hospital Guam. In Nov. 2007 I will be PCS'ing (transferring) to Fleet Marine Service School to become an FMF Corpsman (USMC Medic)than on to 1st marine Division in Camp Pendleton, CA
