Dave's Story
II am retired from the Smithsonian Institution, as of 01 October 2011 and have moved back to Superior. I was previously employed by the Smithsonian and prior to my employment at the SI I attended KU for a graduated degree but after four years in the USAF ... Well, let's say grad school wasn't for me (ABD). It is of some interest that the most rewarding experience of my adult life was my military duty in the USAFSS now called the Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Agency. aight in regard to human nature (mixed reviews) and what is and is not important. Sports? Not much into spectator types of activities though watching 'The Pack' does have an appeal but I have a tough time sitting still that long. I enjoy a variety of reading. I enjoy or have enjoyed shooting and reloading though I'm not a hunter. My passion is photography. I'm still single though I've always benefited from and enjoyed the female perspective (and why all my best friends are women I suppose). I also talk way too much (in contrast to when y'all* knew me at East) so I hope that I haven't bored you. Best wishesl. Dave. *Note the lingering southern 'twang.'
