Life I am married to david a retired navy man,in southern illinois.I have two boys 27 and 25 thier names are nick And luke.They are from my first mariage with butch helmer which lasted 19 yrs and 2 months.nick has married berogan nelson and they have had 2 boys deagon and tristan. nick is now a single man again and is living on his own and has put his life back in order.luke is still single and kinda looking but likes the money to much and likes not being told what to do by a woman hahahaha.places i have lived are few but the best place is texas only because it was warm there 11 months out of 12. David and I are foster parents and we also take in teenagers for 21 days or less for a program called youth services.It is an emergency placement for teens till they either get back home or they find another place for them. we also have a foster son who lives with us full time who is the coolest!We can take in special needs teens also. we are getting a special needs foster teen this week oct.7th God is blessing us again.If anyone is thinking about fostering it is the most rewarding thing you can do!It is heart breaking too when they leave...if you have a soft heart like me...I make everyone one of my kids and to see them leave is so very hard, but some come back to say hello and most call to keep in touch. my mom and dad have moved down here to be were there is a bit more milder weather and where we can look after each other seeing as they are getting up in age and getting a bit more fragile ...but we say that in a whisper as we all hate to admite it...and they can be with me if Dave isn't around just incase I have a siezure...don't know ho...Expand for more
