Dave's Story
Life
Life is good but what the hell happened to the last 20 years holly crap am I the only one that feels old around here ? My oldest daughter is driving and has a job, my youngest daughter is a freshman in high school and talks about boys all the time, what's a dad to do ? Well this is what I do, I spend alot of money on a older 4X4 and go play in the mud. This is a great family get away for the kids and the wife and I, we realy enjoy it. I currently work in Sonora at Sierra Pacific Industries, I more or less make round logs into square ones. We have been here for 16 years in the town of Tuolumne and love it, my two girls are 17 and 14 (I feel old...) my wife works for Bank of America as Ass. Mgr. At one time I was the Personal Corr. and Safety Mgr. for the company I work for but the politics were too much, so I went back on the production crew and make alot more money. Life couldn't be better I stay in touch with a couple of the guys from back in the day, but for the most part I just play with the Jeep I am building and go off-roading, I work to play.
School
Well I went to South School K-5, Monte Vista 6-8 and of course Tracy High 9-12 I think Leo Schools was a goofy but good teacher I still use the stuff he taught...Expand for more
us today and the girls were cute. Wow I think the best moment was playing Soccer with the gang, the road games were the best. As far as who was my biggest crush I'll never tell I think she still remembers me.
Workplace
After High school I went to into the Marine Corps were I was able to travel to Japan and Hawaii, I pretty much covered the state from one base to another, I was stationed at Camp Pendalton for 3 years and in Okinawa Japan for my last year, after I recieved my Honerabls discharge from the Marine Corps I moved to Sonora with my wife and kids where we have been ever since. At one time I was the Personal/Saftey Director for the company I work for. To much politics for me so I went back to the production side of the mill.
Military
After school I joined the Marine Corps I went to boot camp at MCRD San Diego after boot camp I was stationed at Camp Pendalton Ca. where I was assined to various other bases through out Cali. from Bridgeport to 29 Palms. In 1987 I married my High school sweetheart and we lived in Fallbrook, just off base, after a year I was sent to Okinawa Japan, now, my wife was 7 1/2 months pregnant, so I hated the stupid Island, after a year I came home and we live a modest life in Tuolume Ca.
