Dave's Story

I retired in Nov 2013. I have settled down in an active adult community in Pacfic Northwest with my beautiful wife Carol of 43 years. Enjoy visiting my son & family in Ewing, NJ and my daughter & family in Rocklin, CA. Thoroughly enjoy my four grandchildren. Believe it or not I obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly, SLO where I met my wife Carol. I was drafted and requested the Navy. To avoid as much formality as possible I requested assignment to an ocean tugboat. To insure that assignment I volunteered for Salvage and Diving duty, that was my mistake! with the underwater challenge. 27 years later I retired from the Naval Reserve and enjoy retired military benefits such as space available travel to see my children. A majority of my commercial career was driven my my underwater military experience. Mostly I designed underwater tools and performed direct and remote underwater inspection for the nuclear industry and offshore industry. My security clearance lead me into design and construction of underground facilities. My bucket list includes travel, family projects and playing with Hot Rods again. I am looking forward to our next class reunion.
