Dave's Story
After High School I went off to the University of Waterloo and completed my Engineering Degree (Elec Eng). I worked for a short time at an offshoot of Ontario Hydro, called the Canadian Fusion Fuels Technology Project down on Lakeshore Road at Winston Churchill. In 1984 I moved to Nortel (then Northern Telecom) in Brampton. I worked at Nortel for 18 interesting years between the Brampton and downtown Toronto offices. In 1987 I married Joan Orr, who was also a Waterloo Grad (although we never met during the time we were both at Waterloo), who grew up in Burlington. We have two daughters, Anne and Jennifer, and have lived a life of domestic bliss in the Milton/Campbellville area for the past 18 years!
I've been in touch with quite a few good friends from the old days recently via ClassMates, Facebook and LinkedIn. Maybe all this technology we've been working on all these years will be worth something after all!
