Lieutenant Colonel there in 2009, and I had Brig. General Jeff Smith, Deputy Commander for the 10th US Mountain Division do the honors. when I left Iraq, and I ended up working at the US Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya with USAID. The NOW PHOTO: I made it to the Equator. I got a flag of the 10th US Mountain Division, that I take with me, and that way I can send back photos to my former 10th MTN buddies., of where I and the flag have been too.
The THEN Photo: I was getting a haircut in FEB 1991, just prior to the Ground War starting for the Persian Gulf War.
