David's Story
Life
Dear Friends,
I didn't graduate with the 1969 class in Fremont High, but instead had to go to work to support myself until I left home. I married a beautiful lady named Karen Louise Cooper on February 14, 1970 and we now have 5 children, Amy who lives in Oregon and has four of our grandbabies, Matthew who lives near Dallas, Tx. pastoring and is working toward his masters degree in Ministry in Dallas, Tx., Jay lives in Fort Collins, Colorado and enjoying the beauty there, Victoria is married and working as a manager in a Grocery chain in Waco, TX and is expecting her second child., and lastly there is Jon who has completed his stent in the Marines and is working in the oil fields in southern Texas until he decides what to do with his life. I am working at the Smith County Chapter of the American Red Cross as the Educational Services Director setting up CPR and First Aid Classes in 4 c...Expand for more
ounties and am thoroughly enjoying it. My wife works for the business office at the University of Tyler Health Center in Tyler, TX as a Medi-Tec Analysis Manager. She has completed her degree in Business Administration at LeTourneau University Longview, Tx. at their Tyler branch, where she took accelerated courses until she completed in Dec. 2006. My wife and I are Christians and love getting together with other Christians to pray and serve Jesus. Are there any other Christians in our group? Please let me know. I mentioned that I did not graduate with the 1969 class, but did go back and received my diploma in 1977 and furthered my education by receiving a Ministerial degree in the spring of 1980.
