David's Story
Dave attended St Mathews grade school until 6th grade, then went to public school for several years. Spent 4 years at Serra. Fr. Statadler told my dad not to worry that I was learning in spite of myself. After Serra I attended CSM for 2 years. While at CSM the draft lottery was held. That is the only lottery I ever won. retired' from the phone compay I went to work for a company that sold equipment to the various telcos. Motorola bought the company , so I wound up with Motorola for 8+ years. I am now happily retired. In 1976 I married Ann in the Serra chapel. We have 2 daughters now in their 30's. My hobbies are woodworking and playing with my corvette. I love to travel I was able to check off a bucket list item for visiting all 50 states. I also volunteer for Habitat for Humanity.
