David's Story
After High School I worked at WZZM FM in Grand Rapids while attending GRJC and then worked at WVIC FM in Lansing, W4 FM in Detroit and WLAV FM in Grand Rapids. I also worked as a residential carpenter and cabinet maker.
I am now a retired Health & Safety Analyst for a major Office Futniture Manufacturer in Grand Rapids. Looking for another job in broadcasting, now that I don't need to worry about money so much.

ol are pleasant and I remember spending many hours cruising the circuit and traveling to the beach while listening to the Beach Boys, Jan and Dean, The Beatles, The Mamas & Poppas, The Birds, Bob Dylan, The 4 Tops Etc. Lamberton Lake, Grand Haven and Holland were my favorite summer hangouts. For music it was The Note at Gun Lake, The Place, The Black and Silver Room and of course St. Alphonsus where I heard my first live rock music. It was the Band SRC and I thought they were great!
