David's Story
Life
We were the final class in the old building (1977). Moved to O'Fallon MO after graduation and have lived/worked here ever since. I am married for the second time and have one son, 3 step children, a grandson: Coel Thomas Balcom and step-granddaughter: Sophia.
School

ally finished BA in 2001 at Lindenwood University in St. Charles (I was in NO hurry). :)
Workplace
Started working at age 13. Was an assistant store manager at P N Hirsh & Co in E. Alton by age 16. Worked at Kalimar (camera wholesaler) as a warehouse manager until 1981. In late 1982, I was hired as a police dispatcher, became a patrolman 6 months later, a detective in 1987, a sergeant in 1991, a lieutenant in 1998 and finally made captain in 2006.
