Life Perhaps the strangest event in my life was being in Manhattan during 9/11. I was visiting a friend, Rob Urban, who lives in the Upper East Side of Manhattan along with the other rich beautiful people, and was scheduled to return on September 10th. BUT...my flight was cancelled due to a horrific lightning and thunder storm...which, as you might recalled, cleared out by the next day, leaving New York a bright, clear bluesky day. Just the kind of day terrorists like to fly planes... I was stuck there for several weeks, since planes were grounded, and since Rob's wife was stuck in Brazil. I became the de facto babysitter. Other than that, I have had the great good fortune of meeting a fair number of "important" people, like the Dalai Lama, Bill Clinton, Bucky Fuller, Joseph Campbell, Tim Leary, Ginsburg, many composers, artists, writers and thinkers.
