David's Story
Life
Well its been almost 25 years since high school and alot has happenend. I went to San Diego State after college, where I attempted to walk on the the football program, decided that schooling was more important and gradulated in 1986 with a BS in Management. I ventured into the world as a stockbroker only to have the biggest market crash since the 20's derail me. Next I became a low-income housing landlord (ok, slum lord) after acquiring and renovating over 50 units I decided to cash out and bye a 100 acre lot in San Diego, Ca. Before I could split the lots and sell out, we had the great real estate crash of the 90's. After looking around I started a marketing company that did promotions with MBNA (for those of you who don't have their card, they are the largest issuer of credit cards) after workin...Expand for more
g at every imaginable sporting event, (i.e. Superbowl, NASCAR, World Series, NBA Finals, WWF to name a few) I decided that travel was getting old.
I then got married in 96 and had a son in 97. Named him Dallas after my love of the Cowboys. Things didn't quite work out and by 1999 I was divorced. (YES!!!)
By then, we had now began the great internet rush and decided to beginning marketing for interenet start ups. Unfornately, things again went bust, as I was left holding over a million shares of useless companies.
I currently reside in Huntington Beach, Ca (Orange County) where I have been for the last 3 years.
That pretty much sums up the last 25 years since Cabrillo High School. I still make it back to the Flower Festival yearly as that is my one chance to catch up on old friends.
